GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE NORTH-SOUTH EXPRESSWAY
The investment project to build the Eastern section of the North-South Expressway Phase 2 is implemented by the Ministry of Transport in collaboration with the People’s Committees of the provinces, under the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The project has a total length of 729km, passing through 12 provinces and cities, including the following sections: Ha Tinh – Quang Tri with a length of 267km; Quang Ngai – Nha Trang is 353km long; Can Tho – Ca Mau is 109km long, with a total investment of more than 146,990 billion VND. It is expected that the project will be completed in 2025 and put into operation from 2026./.
