CENTRAL AWARDS CERTIFICATE OF SAFETY TRAINING

On January 26, 2022, CENTRAL held a ceremony to award the certificate of completion of the safety training course for projects in HCMC, employees in the North and Central regions receive a certificate at the project they are working on.

The program covers 12 different theoretical and practical topics related to construction safety management, such as project site safety management, managing the system of documents and safety records, responding to emergency situations, hazard identification and risk assessment, and instructing first aid, fire prevention, fighting, and rescue. Employees have a better understanding of the responsibilities of safety workers on the construction site and a more practical application of the safety system throughout the planning and implementation stages until the end of the project after nearly two months of training.

It is expected that CENTRAL will organize more useful programs for employees at each management level in the near future to improve knowledge and professional expertise.

HEAD OF SAFETY TRAINING PROGRAM

Safety is one of the prerequisite goals for CENTRAL’s Projects.

With the goal of improving the role of Deputy Site Managers, Supervisors to become the future Head of Safety, from November 10, 2021, to the end of December 2021, the Safety Department organizes a training program with the topic Head of Safety.

Projects in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces will study at the Head Office, the remaining projects will participate in online training.

The training program includes 12 different topics related to HSE management at the Project, document system, sample form; Occupational safety (group 2) – 44/2016/ND-CP; Responding to emergency situations, risk assessment, work permit system…. first aid, fire prevention, and rescue.

These specialized training courses will equip additional safety knowledge; Understand the roles and responsibilities of a safety worker on a construction site. At the same time, it is possible to deploy and operate the CENTRAL safety management system, reduce hazards on the construction site as well as achieve the target of NO accidents at the sites

NEW ENGINEER TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

CENTRAL has always oriented sustainable team development through policies to attract and train talent. In that journey, the priority of connecting to Universities to recruit Engineers right after graduation has been carried out by CENTRAL since its establishment. This year, CENTRAL continues to organize a New Engineer Training and Development program that takes place in 2 months from November 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021.

Many of them have boldly shared about their orientation and received dedicated guidance from the CEO and the Human Resources Department. CEO Tran Quang Tuan had a speech: “People are one of the core values that CENTRAL always focuses on investing in. In particular, the young generation is an important resource for the Company to create sustainable development over time.”

TIME MANAGEMENT SKILL TRAINING

Outdoor activities combined with training is a new trend that many businesses apply and brings a lot of new, interesting, and effective outcomes.

Recently, CENTRAL organized the “Time Management Skill” training course on 3 days 18,19, and 20/05 at the Head Office. The course attracted 120 staff participation from Sites to Departments.

As we all knew about “Time management”; however, comprehending and properly managing time at work is difficult.

This course contributed to raising awareness about the roles and importance of effective time management by applying the S.M.A.R.T goal, 4P rule, or Eisenhower matrix in working and lifestyle.

Besides, through stimulating and exciting activities, all of the staff had engagement and lively discussion that helped them to have more new perspectives on time management and self-management.

FIRE FIGHTING AND PREVENTION TRAINING AT CHADWICK PROJECT

Recently, the Safety Committee held a Fire Fighting and Prevention training at Chadwick Project, with the participation of all workers, construction teams, with the aim to improve professional skills of fire protection for the team working at the Project.

This is a regular activity that occurs at construction sites as well as head office to raise awareness and responsibility of Fire Fighting and Prevention for each employee and officer. It also gives experience lessons to help the team be more proactive in preventing and handling fire and explosion situations, ensuring the safety of people and property in case of incidents.

The training session brought them useful knowledge in Fire Fighting and Prevention, as well as trained them in the ability to handle situations on the spot in case something went wrong.

In addition to ensuring effective business, CENTRAL attaches special importance to Fire Fighting and Prevention in the entire system. Through the training course, construction sites were deeply aware of the meaning of Fire Fighting and Prevention, which is both a responsibility and an obligation of all employees at CENTRAL.

NEGOTIATION TRAINING COURSE FOR EMPLOYEES AND WORKERS

Besides improving professional skills in working progress, CENTRAL always focuses on the essential soft skills for all employees.

Recently, the training department held a negotiation training course with 60 participants from the Sites and Departments of the company.

Negotiation is always an interesting topic and provokes many problems. In negotiation, you not only stand up for your point of view but also look at the problems from the partner’s perspective to create successful deals that bring mutual benefits for stakeholders. It is the art of modern negotiation.

The course provides crucial knowledge, skills, and necessary tools for employees able to understand the importance of negotiation in the business environment. In addition, it also contributed to enhancing negotiation skill application into practical reality.
