To fulfill the employees’ spiritual life, CENTRAL Labor Relations Department organized activities to visit and give gifts to the SMBs employees across the country from November 19, 2021, to January 10, 2022.
As one of the annual activities, the meetings are an opportunity for the Company to listen to opinions and answer questions during the working process. When understanding more about the working situation on the construction site, daily life as well as the engineers’ thoughts, CENTRAL empathizes and appreciates the SMBs’ efforts and contributions.
Around Lunar New Year is also a hot time at the construction site when they have to rush to push the milestones of the project progress. At this time, the attention, sharing, and encouragement from the Company are essential to energize the SMB team of the projects to successfully complete the assigned tasks and conquer the challenges ahead.

In the joyful atmosphere of the first days of the new year, CENTRAL successfully organized the Conference & Year-End Party on January 7, 2022, with the theme of “CONSOLIDATE INTERNAL POWER, SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITIES” at White Palace 194 Hoang Van Thu, Phu Nhuan District, HCMC. Attending the event were more than 900 employees in the South and Central regions; while the North employees participated through the online system.

2021 ended with many changes, ups and downs that we cannot imagine such incidents. But with love, the strength of solidarity, and belief, CENTRAL together created a strong position in the Vietnamese construction industry market, which is evaluated by our Clients and Partners.

To become a different construction company, each member of CENTRAL is required to be an elite person, with a warrior spirit and constantly changing to improve their knowledge and skills. Therefore, this year’s Conference is not only an opportunity for the BOD to share business orientations in 2022 but also for all CENTRAL members to discuss and answer questions during working time. On this occasion, the employees presented their thoughts and aspirations on policies, benefits, or ideas from the cooperation and interaction between the Projects/Departments. The opinions and questions of each individual were directly answered by the BOD. In addition, the contributions have been recognized by the BOD to further improve the operation plan in the next year. The Conference will be an annual activity of CENTRAL so that the Company continuously strengthens its internal strength and becomes stronger in order to continue reaching out to higher achievements in the future.

Following the Conference program was the Year-End Party 2021 which took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere only between CENTRALERS. The film summarizing deeply and proudly in the last year CENTRAL handed over 13 Projects and received 15 more Projects. At the event, CEO Tran Quang Tuan shared: “While the Vietnamese market was affected by 4 waves of the Covid epidemic, CENTRAL still maintained its business results and kept the milestones of the Project’s progress received many thanks and trust from the Investors. This is the honor and pride of the whole team and also the motivation for us to try harder to affirm our long-term credibility. Recently, the Company is going into a drastic stage of building a lean and strong structure, focusing on strengthening internal resources; promoting systematicity; strengthening the connection between Projects/Departments in the Company; especially developing leadership skills for the BOD and Senior Managers. From there, firmly build the CENTRAL foundation, seize the opportunity to continue reaching the heights in the future.”

CENTRAL’s development as it is today, thanks to the wise strategies and orientations of BOD and the dedication of a whole team. And in recognition of their contributions and sacrifices, the BOD honored individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in the past year.

On November 30, 2021, in Singapore, CENTRAL was honored in the category of Corporate Excellence Award at the 15th Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2021 (APEA) for its outstanding achievements in business to overcome the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
To achieve it, CENTRAL has passed through many rounds of surveys and evaluations with strict criteria such as financial audit, business data assessment, and leadership capacity; interview and secret ballot by the international advisory board of Enterprise Asia.
Established in 2007, the APEA is the region’s most prestigious business award. APEA honors businesses and leaders with outstanding achievements and qualities, building successful businesses while creating values for society. The award has been held in 14 countries in Asia. This year, with the “Build Back Better” slogan, APEA has marked the milestone of 15 years of presence in Asia and 5 years in Vietnam.
At the announcement, Dr. Fong Chan Onn – Chairman of Enterprise Asia shared: “The Covid-19 pandemic is a wake-up call to the world and puts businesses to the test with numerous challenges. This is also the year that Vietnam realizes its true potential and demonstrates its resilience by becoming one of the region’s top-performing economies today. In 2020, the General Statistics Office of Vietnam recorded 2.9% GDP growth in the country amid the pandemic that occurred the previous year. While the evolution of the Vietnamese market through the 4 waves of the Covid pandemic has many uncertainties in the future, the fact that CENTRAL still maintains business results and progress milestones in projects has received absolute trust from the Investor. CENTRAL has gained these international achievements that helped affirm its position and reputation in Vietnam’s construction industry, which is a milestone to create an aspiration to reach out to Southeast Asia.
In the morning of September 19, 2021, at 60 Vo Van Tan, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, CENTRAL cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Center (Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society) to organize a blood donation program 2021 with the spirit of “Giot mau se chia – An tinh mua dich”.
There was more than 100 CENTRAL staff who participated in this first blood donation program, along with other personnel from agencies and departments in the city.
Overview of the program
The complicated and prolonged epidemic situation has affected blood mobilization from community sources. Therefore, this urgent activity has supported more blood reserves, especially for hospitals that are treating Covid-19 patients.
A staff who participated in blood donation shared: “When the company started to launch the program, I immediately responded enthusiastically. However, Ho Chi Minh City is currently implementing social distancing, moving to the blood donation site will be a bit difficult. But the company has organized and supported very well in all activities to make travel more convenient. I feel that this is a very meaningful activity to help the community, and I’m happy to help others.”

CENTRAL believes that each employee’s companionship with the program has contributed to demonstrating the sense of responsibility of individuals and businesses to society.
On November 24, 2021, the CENTRAL BOD and Managers Conference with the goal of “Connection, Companion, and Development” was successfully held at The Grand Ho Tram Strip, Ba Ria – Vung Tau. This is also the area where CENTRAL is currently working on 3 featured projects: Movenpick Hotel – Novaworld Ho Tram; Charm Long Hai Resort; Venezia Beach. More than 50 staff representing the Heads of Departments, Project Directors, Senior Site Managers were present to discuss and give suggestions and opinions.
The conference had 3 main contents:
– CENTRAL business planning in 2022
– Organizational chart and operating system, CENTRAL position in the market
– Thoughts, aspirations, and opinions of all levels of management to contribute to the organization in a constructive, open, and comfortable spirit.
As reported during the conference, CENTRAL’s Backlog sales for 2022 are 16.822 billion. Besides, CENTRAL has had invitations to participate in megaprojects for next year from famous investors, so it is expected that Backlog sales will increase in Q1 and Q2 next year.

While the Vietnamese market has progressed through 4 waves Covid pandemic and there are still many uncertainties in the future, CENTRAL has maintained its business results and maintained progress milestones in projects that received a lot of attention.
