Joining the bustling atmosphere to welcome Spring Giap Thin, on January 20^th, 2021, at White Palace Convention Center, Phu Nhuan District, the Central 2023 Review & Staff Honor Conference took place well with the theme “Lanh Dao Kien Tao”.

The event was attended by the Company’s Board of Directors and all management levels of Department/ Projects and employees to achieve excellent achievements in 2023.

Overcoming the fluctuations of the market with relentless efforts, Central is one of the rare contractors that still ensures a stable profit margin and is the priority of choice when the Investor awards contracts, highly appreciated by Partners,  domestic and foreign customers with prestige and sense of responsibility at work.

Through the succinct 2023 summary footage, Central employees present at the ceremony looked back on the achievements that the company’s team has created in the past year. Sharing at the ceremony, CEO Tran Quang Tuan said: “We have accompanied to create and make a mark on the market as a leading General Contractor, maintaining business results, achieving impressive revenue and keeping project progress milestones, received a lot of thanks and trust from the Developers. This is the honor and pride of the whole team of the Company and also the motivation for us to try harder. Myself and the Board of Directors are always consistent with the set goals and to realize this element of sustainable development, our team needs to understand and implement together.”

In 2023, the Company will carry out a “comprehensive restructuring” from the Company’s organizational chart to all Departments, thereby separating between the MANAGEMENT level and the OPERATIONS level; building a clear decentralization and delegation system; refreshing and streamlining all processes, regulations, forms, aiming at simplicity but efficiency, assigning clear personal responsibility to increase labor productivity. Leaders/managers have changed and matured dramatically in all aspects, from thinking to acting; from the level of “dependence” to “independence”, from “independence” to “interdependence” and all are aimed at the overall success of the organization.

At the 2023 Review Conference, there was a discussion with the theme “Leadership in Building Culture”. Transforming 5 core values of the Company into real, and complete values, especially focusing on the value of “Trust”. The employees attending at the hall together with the Board of Directors dialogued, shared, and together implemented the common tasks of the organization. Each of comments is acknowledged by the Board of Directors and directly answers problems.

In recognition of the dedication and efforts of excellent employees & projects in 2023, Central Board of Directors has directly approved and rewarded individuals & departments/projects with the following categories: Excellent Project, Dedicated Department, Excellent Project Manager,  Excellent Deputy Project Manager, Excellent Team Leader, Excellent Supervisor and Excellent Office Specialist.

In conclusion, the 2023 Review Conference is an employee appreciation party, taking place in an extremely cozy and intimate atmosphere. Employees from all Departments/Projects in three regions of the country gathered in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the achievements of the year and promise to strive for a new year full of expectations and fruits of Vietnam’s construction industry.

Although Central people go everywhere, contributing to building magnificent works, this place is always a home/a place of belonging. Every person has the right to be proud, to be loved and to grow. In the afternoon of January 18^th, 2024, the VNR500 Ranking was held at GEM Center, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Central Construction Joint Stock Company was honored to increase more than 100 places in the Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam in 2023 officially organized by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) in collaboration with VietNamNet Newspaper.

VNR500 is a ranking honoring large-scale enterprises, maintaining efficient and stable production and business activities, and showing bravery and flexibility in the context of unpredictable fluctuations in the domestic and world economy.

2023 marks Central Construction Joint Stock Company’s transformation in business scale, administration, and human resource development.

The Better World Builder of the Year award, within the framework of the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards 2023, is a “fruition” for the creative efforts of the Central general contractor.

Surpassing more than 150 companies in Southeast Asia, the award dossier of Solforest Residences, Ecopark (Hung Yen) with the scale of two basements, two 41-storey towers, and a CFA of 143,000 m2, designed – constructed by Central, convinced the international jury.

The company is highly appreciated for its sustainable technical innovations in design, and construction … to reduce environmental impact, use energy efficiently, and improve air quality.

The Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards 2023 are held annually by Autodesk Corporation (USA) in Singapore to celebrate the people, projects, and technologies behind companies in the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. With a rigorous award process, the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards 2023 is considered one of the most prestigious industry awards today.

According to business representatives, this award not only recognizes the capacity of engineers and experts but also the achievement of the digital transformation journey that Central has implemented since its date of establishment.

BIM solution with the support of Autodesk software that Central has applied helps to offer optimal construction plans, accurately calculate workload, synchronize the technique of “structure – finishing – M&E and interior”, thereby minimizing errors arising, waste of materials, centralized management of resources and improve work efficiency. Efforts in business have taken Central far up the rankings, winning the trust of partners and customers. Standing in the Top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam (Profit500) in 2023 evaluated by Vietnam Report according to international standards (Fortune500 model) and voted by Vietnamnet newspaper, is a testament to the company’s business performance, regardless of capital market fluctuations, corporate bond market and the continuous fluctuation of prices of construction materials over the past year.

In addition, Central General Contractor was consecutively awarded the Asia Pacific Enterpries Awards for two consecutive years 2021 – 2022 by Enterpries Asia for its efforts in maintaining sustainable growth with meaningful community activities.

In addition to the recognition on the business side, Central General Contractor adds to its collection of major awards in the field of human resources. At the end of 2023, Central was honored in the Top 100 Best Workplaces in Vietnam ranking from Anphabe – Consultant on employer branding and happy working environment.

Previously, Central was named by Anphabe at the same time in 3 award categories in 2022 including: Top 4 companies with the best working environment in the architectural construction industry; Top 50 Vietnamese enterprises with attractive employer brands in Vietnam and Top 100 best places to work in Vietnam.

In the first week of 2024, Central Construction JSC launched the Club of Department Heads. Attending this event, there was the presence of Chairman & CEO Tran Quang Tuan.

The Club of Department Heads was established at the growth stage of Central, with the motto to create a playground connecting all Heads of Departments, the elite in establishing the back office to integrate quickly with the front office into the common, sustainable development of Central.

On the morning of January 6^th, 2024, the club unanimously voted:

• Mr. Mao Vi Cuong – Chairman
• Mr. Tran Minh Thi – Permanent Deputy Director
• Mr. Ly Trung Tinh – Non-Permanent Deputy Director

At the launch, Chairman Mao Vi Cuong introduced personnel, objectives, tasks, and new points about the obligations and benefits of members under the club’s regulations in the new term. After 1 day of working exchange, the Board of Directors has received a lot of experience sharing, comments, and enthusiastic support commitments of members.

Over the years, the Central team has been persistently creating value. At this time, facing a challenging period, it is necessary to elevate and create a “new spiral” for the organization, transforming the 5 core values of the company into reality. On the evening of November 23^rd, 2023, Central Construction Joint Stock Company was honored in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2023 according to the voting results from Anphabe – the pioneer consulting firm providing Employer Brand and Happy Workforce solutions. Amidst market volatility, the global economy is strongly affected in many fields, and this year, the race for the title of “Best Places to Work in Vietnam” is hotter than ever. This result recognizes the efforts of Central’s Board of Directors and employees during the past year.

This is the 10th year Anphabe has announced this prestigious award. This year, for the first time, the ranking of the 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam is separated into 2 separate tables according to the criteria of Large Enterprises and Medium Enterprises…

Best Places to Work in Vietnam is an annual award made completely independently, recognizing the most objective opinions from employees to measure the health of the Employer Brand; with the sponsorship of the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The model and evaluation method are verified by market research company Intage Vietnam.

The survey for Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2023 was conducted from April to September independently, which polled 63,000 experienced workers from 18 industry groups of more than 700 leading enterprises to ensure fairness and objectivity of the results.

The survey was conducted based on the following criteria such as salary, bonuses, welfare, professional development, culture and values, leadership, work-life balance, company reputation, quality-market coverage of products and services; and health care for employees. With this result, Central has met the positive expectations of employees in many aspects.

This is the second consecutive year that Central is in the top large enterprises to win the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam. The company always focuses on building a culture based on core values: Trust, Integrity, Respect, Quality and People, building a dynamic working environment, each person always adapts quickly to market changes. Policies on welfare regimes, competitive salary in the industry, caring for the lives of employees and their relatives. Besides, the most important is training, building a succession team, and restructuring the human resource system towards sustainable development.

Central aims to build a working environment for self-improvement, so that each individual can work in a place where are loved, and respected; a second home for employees to work and contribute.

As part of CENTRAL’s annual CSR activities implemented in the locality where CENTRAL’s projects are located. On the afternoon of November 18^th, 2023, CENTRAL organized a scholarship award ceremony for excellent students with the spirit of overcoming difficulties from the following schools: Vinh Tuong 1, Vinh Tuong 2 & Vinh Tuong 3 in Vinh Tuong Commune, Vi Thuy District, Hau Giang Province.

In Vinh Tuong Commune, Vi Thuy District, Hau Giang Province, CENTRAL is constructing the Can Tho – Hau Giang Highway with the following items: Rung Tram Bridge – Km48+375; Giai Phong Bridge – Km47+039 & Giai Phong Bridge (Collector-distributor road) – Km47+039 under the Eastern North-South Expressway Construction Project, period 2021-2025 of the Ministry of Transport.

Through researching and acknowledging the difficult situation in the locality, CENTRAL has decided to donate: 340 backpacks to children of Vinh Tuong Kindergarten, 10 sets of desktop computers and 70 scholarships to students of 3 primary schools Vinh Tuong 1, Vinh Tuong 2 & Vinh Tuong 3,  at the same time, install wall fans for Vinh Tuong 3 Primary School (the campus 2).

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Thuat – Project Director on behalf of CENTRAL’s Board of Directors shared: “Recognizing the difficulties of local people, especially the desire of children to go to school, CENTRAL hopes to contribute and help them overcome difficulties in life and strive in learning. This is also the Company’s goal for sustainable development, not only to build local buildings but also to contribute to local development.”

In response, Mr. Pham Quoc Thanh – Chairman of Vinh Tuong Commune, on behalf of the local Board of Directors and the school, sent his sincere thanks: “This is a very practical and meaningful action that the company has given to excellent students overcoming difficulties. Vinh Tuong commune is currently difficult with a large population and unfavorable travel conditions. These gifts have contributed to paying for a part of their living costs here, helping them to have a more stable life and focus on their studies.”

In the future, each place CENTRAL passes through will have more meaningful activities for the community to bring joy and share difficulties with the locality, together building a better life. Particularly for scholarship programs, with this scholarship, the students will strive to study, be useful and help contribute to society.
