As part of the National Research Program on ESG Commitment and Implementation and the “Top 100 Green Vietnam ESG Enterprises 2025”, Viet Research, in collaboration with the Finance and Investment Newspaper (under the Ministry of Finance), has announced the “Top 10 Green Vietnam ESG Enterprises 2025 – Construction Sector (ESG10 – 2025)”.
These are pioneering construction enterprises that have made strong ESG commitments and actively pursued sustainable development in the industry, as reflected by:
(1) Business performance and sustainability compared to industry averages;
(2) Commitments and practices related to environmental protection, social responsibility and corporate governance.

Vietnam’s construction industry, one of the largest consumers of resources and a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, is facing increasing pressure to pursue sustainable development. The Vietnamese Government has made strong commitments at COP26 (2021) and COP27 (2022), aiming for net zero emissions by 2050. This has become a driving force for enterprises, including construction contractors, to align their strategies with ESG integration. However, the level of commitment and ESG implementation among contractors still shows significant limitations and disparities across companies.
A survey conducted by Viet Research on construction enterprises in the Top 10 ESG – Green Vietnam in the construction sector reveals that the primary barrier is the high cost of investment in ESG standards, especially amid economic challenges. Transitioning to green building materials, adopting energy-saving technologies or producing ESG reports in line with international standards all require substantial resources.
Central Construction Joint Stock Company is one of the pioneers in applying recycled materials, energy-efficient construction technologies and innovative waste management at construction sites. The company has adopted BIM technology in design and execution, helping to optimize material use, reduce waste and save energy. Several contractors have also integrated green building standards such as LEED and LOTUS into major projects including: Empire City, The Metropole, Etown 6, Daikin Vietnam Headquarter Building, UOA Tower, C.P. Headquarters, EMASI Plus Waterpoint, and Singapore International School (Hai Phong), aiming to reduce the carbon footprint throughout the lifecycle of buildings.
The Announcement and Recognition Ceremony of the Top 10 ESG Green Vietnam ESG Enterprises 2025 – Construction Sector (ESG10 – 2025) will be held as part of the ESG Vietnam Summit 2025: Innovation for a Sustainable Future at the Pullman Hotel, Hanoi, on June 27, 2025. The event will be featured on the official program website www.esg10.vn and across major media channels.
