From the evening of September 8th, 2024 to the morning of September 9th, 2024, the Central’s PMB of Olalani River Side Towers constructed a batch of concrete for the B3 basement, locked the B3 basement floor of the 2 towers B1.1 & B1.2 after 3 months of commencement, exceeding the plan 05 days ahead of schedule set by the Investor.

Olalani River Sde Towers project with a depth of 03 basements up to -14.15m, and an area of 2 basements of nearly 10,000m2. The project uses 2 shoring systems, and solid construction by the open-cut excavation method to withstand high groundwater and tidal pressure due to the project’s location close to the river surface. This is a big challenge for the Central’s PMB with handling experiences as well as complying with strict construction measures.
According to the plan, the project will finish the basement floor by mid-November 2024. This is an important milestone, demonstrating the non-stop and professional working spirit of Central engineers. Congratulations to the PMB and hope that the team will continue to promote this enthusiastic spirit./.
On September 6th, 2024 at Melia Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) organized a discussion with the topic “Strategic Competition for Vietnam Economy: View from Indo-Pacific Spark”.

In order to be honored, Central Construction Joint Stock Company has met and exceeded the evaluation criteria of the International Jury, from the total construction and installation value of all projects at the construction stage, which was started in two years from 01/01/2022 to 31/12/2023, combined with multiplication coefficients for projects registered with “Green” certificates such as: LEED, Lotus, Green Mark, Green Star, EDGE,… and projects in the form of office headquarters, resort hotels and industrial factories.

For Central, in the journey to go far on the rankings, in addition to brand affirmation, it is also associated with breakthrough growth in financial indicators. In the last 5 years, Central has consistently ranked among the Top construction contractors with an impressive compound growth rate of 64%.
In 2022, the company’s revenue will reach over VND 9,000 billion, an increase of 80% compared to 2021. In 2023, although the construction market still has many difficulties due to the general impact of the market, Central still recorded revenue of over VND 8,100 billion, ranking in the Top 3 in terms of revenue among companies in the same industry. Net profit after tax in 2022 and 2023 is at VND 230 billion and VND 200 billion, respectively, the industry’s leading profit on revenue.
According to the 2023 audit report, total equity reached nearly VND 900 billion, cash and cash equivalents amounted to more than VND 900 billion. Central has managed its finances effectively, and the financial indicators in 2023 are better than in previous years. The debt-to-equity ratio has decreased from 1.64 times in 2022 to 0.53 times in 2023. At the same time, the quick payment ratio increased from 0.94 to 1.04, reflecting better and better solvency.
The representative of Central explained that the strategy of developing a variety of project types, in addition to maintaining a commitment to quality in tandem with progress with investors, are the two main reasons why Central continuously wins bids for new projects as well as gaining the trust of traditional customers to ensure the growth momentum of the market-leading “Top” enterprises.
Currently, Central is the general contractor for the construction of civil, industrial, commercial, and hotels & resorts projects to national key transport infrastructure projects. In particular, many projects have achieved “Green Building” certificates from domestic and international certification organizations. In particular, the Daikin project is designed, built and operated according to green building standards with a scale: 3 basements and 13 floors. Upon completion, this will be one of the first buildings in Vietnam as well as in Southeast Asia that can simultaneously meet international standards for green buildings such as Lotus Platinum, LEED ver.04 and WELL Standards for Office Comfort and Health (USA).

The top position of the Central General Contractor is elevated to the level of symbolic works. The greenest apartment tower in Southeast Asia – Sol Forest Ecopark (Hung Yen) is designed and built by Central as the general contractor with a “vertical garden” nearly 200 meters high, creating a symbol of a resort paradise in the middle of the largest green city in Vietnam.
It is also this project that brought to Central – the general contractor for the Design and Build of the “Better World Builder of the Year” within the framework of the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards 2023 in Singapore.

In the office building segment, the General Contractor Central has contributed to creating symbolic value for Etown6 tower – a Grade A+ office project, meeting the pioneering international standard “LEED Platinum” in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a civil project with a basement block depth of up to 27.1 meters – one of the projects with the deepest basement in Vietnam today. In addition, the capping beam system is up to 3.5 meters high, acting as a load-bearing transfer beam for the entire oblique column system above; or complex prestressed floors with cable lengths of up to more than 90 meters are construction records affirming the capacity of the Central General Contractor.

It is expected that Central will join the Top 10 Leading Construction Contractors in Vietnam in 2024 to be honored at the BCI Asia Awards ceremony on the evening of May 31, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City. The BCI Asia Awards is considered one of the most prestigious awards of the construction industry in the region. 2024 is the 19th year that this award has been held in 07 countries and territories in Asia, including Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
